It's been about 2 weeks since my last post, so I thought I needed to touch base and see how things are going. In fact, I had to have my personal roof repaired since the last heavy rain. Turns out I had a piece of flashing that needed to be re-sealed at the corner of the dormer. I only found the leak while sorting through Christmas decorations in the attic.
So, I just wanted to remind everyone to take the time to look for roof leaks as you are gathering your christmas decorations. Check your attic space carefully and all areas where a pipe runs through the roof. Getting these things taken care of now means you can enjoy the holiday season ahead.
